Critical Data Literacy Training and Consulting
In their self-employed work called KritischeDatenBildung – Selbstbewusst durch Datenwelten, Annina Förschler and Ina Sander offer training events, workshops, consulting, and expert inputs (lectures, workshops with students, etc.) on the societal impacts of data technologies, algorithms, and AI, as well as the transformation and effects brought about by the datafication of the education system.
Early Media Education: Protection and Empowerment Go Hand in Hand
The nationwide prevention programme ECHT DABEI, funded by the German Dachverband BKK (company health insurance funds), is co-developed by Paula Bleckmann and Julia Kernbach. At daycare centers and elementary schools, professionals, parents, and children are offered programmes focused on age-appropriate media literacy and protection against digital (health) risks.
